Natural Resources

A wide variety of disciplines fall under the general category of earth and natural resource management. Geographical regions may cover both public and private lands in the form of:

  • forest holdings
  • oil and gas producing lands
  • county, state and national parklands
  • wildlife preserves and refuges
  • wetlands
  • riparian boundaries
  • coastal interfaces
It is often necessary to respond quickly to both natural and man-made events such as floods, tornadoes, hurricanes and wildfires, among others, to rapidly and accurately assess the extent of changes brought about by these events.
